Home
Home provides your at-a-glance view of AI activity in tabs, so you can move between who is using AI, the agents using AI, the applications you’re protecting, and the business value WitnessAI delivers, without leaving the page.
How it works
Home aggregates data from across your WitnessAI deployment and presents it in a tabbed layout. Each tab draws from the same underlying governance data (conversations, alerts, blocked prompts, discovered applications, agent activity, and business-value calculations) scoped to the date range and filters you set at the top.
How the dashboard is organized
The dashboard opens on the Home heading with a row of tabs. Employees is the default, and opening the console takes you straight to it.
Tab | What it shows |
How your workforce uses public AI applications: conversations, applications, users, alerts, and blocked prompts.
Activity for AI agents: the agent types in use, the MCP servers and tools they call, and the actions they take.
Activity for the custom and private AI applications you protect.
Estimated AI spend and the token usage behind it. Beta, enabled per tenant.
The business value WitnessAI delivers: risk avoided, cost saved and AI impact. |
A Risk tab also appears when it's enabled for your tenant.
Each tab has its own address in the console, so you can send a colleague a link straight to the tab you're looking at.
Each tab keeps the same controls at the top so you can scope what you see.
Scope what you see
Use the controls above each tab to focus the view:
- Date range: choose the reporting window (for example, Last 7 days or Last 30 days). All metrics and charts on the tab update to that window.
- All Departments: limit the view to one or more departments.
- All Applications: limit the view to specific AI applications.
A sentence beside the controls sums up the period in words, for example "Your workforce ran N conversations across N active applications this period".
The default date range depends on the size of your deployment. Most deployments open on Last 7 days. Larger deployments open on a shorter range (Last 24 hours or Last hour) and limit how long a window you can choose, to 31 days or 7 days. If your administrator has set a default range, that range is used instead.
Note: The Value tab has the same controls: a date range, All Departments and All Applications. A Clear button appears at the start of the row whenever a filter is active.
